Rainbows, glitter, sugar, magic, what’s not to love about unicorns?! Pastel unicorns can be found everywhere but I’m a big fan of the rainbow and unicorn combo. Bright Lisa Frank-esque colors remind me of my childhood filled with Trapper Keepers, slap bracelets, and scrunchies. No matter what you choose for your party’s color scheme, this DIY unicorn cake topper is totally customizable. Print it out in full color or print the coloring page version and make it your own!
All you need is cardstock, toothpicks, glue, and markers or colored pencils.
And this PDF template.
- Print out the page of the template you’d like to use on cardstock.
- Color in if needed. There are two sizes depending on how big your cake is.
- Glue toothpicks about an inch up on the back of both clouds so you have something to secure the topper into your cake.
- Since it’s made of paper, try to avoid letting the topper itself touch your frosting or fat from the butter may creep up on the topper (you can see that happen on the left cloud in my photos).
Enjoy! Tag me in any pics you share of your unicorn cake on Instagram!
