Footprints leading up to your front door are a fun way to set the party theme early and get guests excited. It works for almost any theme with recognizable footprints (hoofprints for a unicorn party for example) and would work with other party venues too, if the space allows it.
How to Add Monster Footprints to Your Walkway
These are super easy to do. You only need a handful of supplies and minutes!
Black paper (cardstock is best unless you have access to a laminator – then construction paper is fine)
Simply print out the template, cut along the foot, cut, and trace with a pencil onto your black paper (black because real footprints don’t have color, but feel free to use what you want!). If using a thin paper or if you want to ensure you can keep your footprints for future parties, laminate them after cutting them out and trim off the excess.
Place them staggered leading up to your door, securing them in place with a rolled bit of masking tape underneath.
You can use them inside too – leading from your front door to the cake table or even walking up the walls.
These monster footprints are great for any monster-themed party! Birthdays, Halloween, and even getting your kiddos extra excited for movie night before watching Monster’s Inc. Save this idea – pin it on Pinterest!
